The Consultation
Every bespoke commission starts with a conversation. We invite you to share the architecture of your space, the light that fills your room, and the emotions you wish your home to evoke. Our team works closely with you to translate these intangible desires into design sketches. We guide you through the selection of traditional Amazigh motifs, suggesting patterns that honor the heritage of the Atlas while ensuring they integrate seamlessly into your modern aesthetic.
The Selection of Wool
Once the design is finalized, the process moves to the mountain atelier. We select premium, live sheep’s wool specifically for your piece, ensuring the texture and pile meet your standards for comfort and durability. If you have requested custom natural dyes, our artisans begin the intricate process of sourcing pigments—saffron, indigo, or mountain minerals—to achieve the exact hue that balances your room.
The Rhythm of the Loom
This is the heart of the journey. Once the design is set, the loom is warped. From this moment, your rug is being “birthed” in the High Atlas. This stage requires patience; true craftsmanship cannot be rushed. The Arrival
