Wool is hand-sheared from Atlas Mountain sheep in spring, washed in mountain streams and dried in open air. The natural lanolin is preserved for durability and softness that no synthetic can replicate.

Colours come from plants, minerals and earth — saffron, henna, pomegranate and indigo. Each dye bath is unique, giving Azilal rugs their warm, irreplaceable palette that deepens beautifully with age.
